The competition will take place in Piran (Slovenia) from 31th of May to 2nd of June 2024 at two different venues:
- the Vedute hall in Tartini House in Tartini square
- the Tintoretto hall (Town Hall).
Practice and rehearsals will be held at the Music School of Piran.
The Grand prize winners’ concert will be held at Tartini Theatre on Sunday, 2nd of June 2024.
Category 1st: participants born on or after 1st January 2013
Category 2nd: participants born on or after 1st January 2011
Category 3rd: participants born on or after 1st January 2009
Category 4th: participants born on or after 1st January 2007
Category 5th: participants born on or after 1st January 2005
Category 6th: participants born on or after 1st January 2003
The repertoire must include one composition from the piano opus by the Piran-based composer Bojan Glavina (*comment). The rest of the repertoire is free of choice within the prescribed duration for each category. Only original violin pieces may be performed. The entire programme must be performed by heart. All repeats are played at the participant’s discretion.

Performance duration:
Category 1st: up to 7 minutes
Category 2nd: up to 10 minutes
Category 3rd: up to 12 minutes
Category 4th: up to 15 minutes
Category 5th: up to 18 minutes
Category 6th: up to 22 minutes

The judges have the right to interrupt the contestant if the prescribed time is exceeded. The pieces may be performed in any order. The original music scores must be submitted to the judges at their request. The number of the repetition is up to the performer.
